Brandy is a NHTI Graduate from the Class of 2007 and has been in the medical field for over 20 years. She was first a phlebotomist and fell in love with the medical field and helping people. Brandy now works at Catholic Medical Center as a full-time technologist and I still loves it, all of it. She is a wife to her wonderful husband, Brian. He has been her support system for years, and could not do all she does without him. She is also a mother to two beautiful girls, Julianna and Jillian. They are amazing and always give her the perspective and love she needs. They spend their time together as a family enjoying the outdoors here in NH. They are a family of avid skiers and love Loon Mountain!

Michael has been involved in Medical Imaging since his student days in 1974 at Catholic Medical Center-West. After graduating from NHTI in 1976, Michael started a long career at Catholic Medical Center growing and advancing from Staff Technologist to QC Technologist, Student Supervisor, working in VIR and CT to Manager and finally Director of Assets and Imaging Informatics. In 2017 Mike ‘retired’ from the Medical Center and now works as an RT/Medic at an Urgent Care. He thoroughly enjoys getting back to his roots. Mike holds an A.S. Degree in Radiologic Technology from NHTI and a B.S. in Management from SNHU. Mike’s family consists of his wife Sue, who is a mammographer, his two adult sons and yellow labs, Luna and Millie. It is a pleasure to be once again serving the NHSRT having been a member since 1974 and a past Treasurer from 1977 through 1988.

Jessica has been a registered Radiologic Technologist since 2008. She has multiple degrees including an Associate of Science Degree in Radiologic Technology, a Bachelor of Science in Health Promotion and Fitness, and a Master's degree of Science in Leadership. She has worked in a variety of roles from staff technologist, lead technologist, Chief technologist, Clinical Coordinator/Assistant Professor, and Program Director/Associate Professor. Presently, her full-time role is working for the Community College System of New Hampshire as a Program Director and Professor of Radiologic Technology. She has served as an ASRT New Hampshire state delegate in 2021 and 2024. She continues to work in a per diem capacity as a radiographer. In her free time, she enjoys hiking, downhill skiing, walking, traveling, paddleboarding, and fishing.

Over 40 years ago, Allyson received her BSRT in radiology. Her practice has varied, but she has been primarily in CT and MRI. She has been fortunate enough to be an ASRT MRI chapter delegate. Being a part of the NHSRT for many years and have been privileged to hold many offices, Allyson appreciates what the future will bring.

Elizabeth has held many roles in the imaging profession throughout her career. She is currently working as a CT technologist and pursuing her MBA at Southern New Hampshire University. Liz currently serves as the Correspondence Secretary for the NHSRT. She has been published in the ASRT Scanner magazine and has co-written several Directed Readings in Radiologic Technology. Liz has had the opportunity to be an item writer for the ARRT on Mammography and served as a Mammagraphy chapter delegate in the ASRT House of Delegates. She has a passion for medical imaging and supporting her colleagues to grow and succeed in their field. Outside of her professional role, Liz enjoys spending time with her family hiking, biking, swimming, camping, and skiing.

Brett has an impressive and diverse educational and professional background. With an Associate of Science Degree in Radiologic Technology from River Valley Community College, he has laid a solid foundation for his career in radiology imaging. Currently working at Dartmouth Hitchcock, Brett is actively pursuing his MRI licensing, which will broaden his expertise and capabilities within the radiologic field. This combination of education and practical experience making him an asset in healthcare. Brett's interests outside of the professional setting paints a picture of someone who values nature and creativity. Camping and fishing allow him to unwind and connect with the outdoors, while enjoying live music and on/off Broadway shows demonstrates his appreciation for arts and culture. His adventurous spirit leads him to traveling to new places as well as keeping him open to new experiences and exploration, which also contribute positively to his personal growth and work-life balance.

Kate is Program Director for the Radiologic Technology and Limited X-ray Machine Operator (LXMO) programs at NHTI – Concord’s Community College and an alumna of NHTI. She brings more than 20 years of healthcare leadership experience from NH NeuroSpine Institute, where she concluded her career as Clinical Operations Manager. Kate has been published in the ASRT Scanner magazine and is passionate about radiologic technology education, student success, and workforce development in New Hampshire. She has taught exam prep courses online, ensuring that graduates are successful in their ARRT registry exam. As an at-large board member of the New Hampshire Society of Radiologic Technologists, she is dedicated to advancing the profession and promoting high-quality patient care across the state.

Rex Kantatan is a Lead Radiation Therapist at Dartmouth Cancer Center’s Department of Radiation Oncology and Applied Sciences, where he also serves as a policy writer and clinical preceptor for radiation therapy students from the University of Vermont and New Hampshire Technical Institute. With 12 years of experience in healthcare, Rex has built a career spanning clinical practice, education, leadership, and professional advocacy. A passionate educator, Rex has served as a clinical instructor, clinical coordinator, and adjunct faculty member, teaching courses in radiologic physics, radiation protection, quality assurance, and radiobiology. He currently teaches as an adjunct professor for River Valley Community College and is pursuing a Doctorate of Education. Beyond his clinical and academic work, Rex serves as Chair of the Board of Directors for One Patient One Cure, a nonprofit organization advancing research in personalized cancer medicine. He is deeply committed to supporting the growth of the radiologic sciences profession through education, mentorship, and lifelong learning. Outside of work, Rex enjoys playing guitar, diving into all things science, appreciating music and art, and spending quality time with his wife, daughter, and three dogs.

Alysha is a longtime resident of New Hampshire’s Lakes Region and a senior Radiologic Technology student at NHTI. She currently works as a student technologist at Huggins Hospital, where she is gaining valuable clinical experience while pursuing her degree. In her free time, Alysha enjoys running and reading a good book. She is excited to begin her career and contribute to the future of medical imaging in New Hampshire.

Currently a student in the Radiographic Technology program at River Valley Community College, Michael brings more than 20 years of professional experience in the fields of construction management, secondary education, curriculum development, leadership, and scientific outreach across national and international settings. As an educator, he has helped develop and implement strategic initiatives that promote student success, including curriculum alignment, faculty development, budgeting, and team leadership. His passion for science communication led him to serve as Education Officer aboard the research vessel JOIDES Resolution, where he designed educational programming for students and educators worldwide during IODP Expedition 351. Michael is recognized for his collaborative leadership, data-informed decision-making, and commitment to continuous improvement, enabling him to build strong partnerships and deliver innovative educational solutions that put students' educational needs first. Outside of his professional career, Michael is an accomplished endurance adventurer, having completed the Long Trail, Appalachian Trail, and Great Divide Trail, as well as a transcontinental bicycle journey from Washington, D.C., to Seattle, Washington. These experiences reflect the resilience, discipline, and curiosity that define both his personal and professional pursuits. His current interests include organic farming and maintaining trails on the Appalachian Trail and in the Tucker Mountain Forest. Michael looks forward to continuing to learn, contribute to, and grow the NHSRT professional community over the coming year as he advances his studies in radiography and the fields surrounding it.
